Description
Antique Art Nouveau dresser or desk box produced by Art Metal Works (the precursor to Ronson) around the 1910s. This piece features a rich polychrome green-and-gold acid-etched patina finish accented with inlaid sterling silver overlay in classic organic Art Nouveau floral and whiplash scroll motifs. Stamped AMW, Model number 4107, Sterling on Bronze, PAT. AUG. 2. 1912. Condition: Very good antique condition with a rich, undisturbed aged patina and intact sterling silver inlays. The green/gold acid-etched finish shows normal minor wear consistent with age and handling. Clean interior.
