Description
Authentic Antique Imperial Nippon Hand-Painted Porcelain Vase, dating from the late 19th century to early 20th century (circa 1891–1921). This exceptional example of Japanese export porcelain features a soft matte finish with an elegant, multi-colored gradient background in shades of mist green, sky blue, and cream. The vase is entirely decorated by hand with a striking, 360-degree composition of pink and white azalea flowers, trailing buds, and deep green foliage. The craftsmanship is elevated by stunning moriage (raised slip) detailing and heavy, delicate gold git accent lines that follow the contours of the flowers. The collar and rim feature an intricate, traditional geometric border with raised gold enamel beading. The base bears the authentic, deep green stamped maker mark: "IMPERIAL • NIPPON • HAND PAINTED". A spectacular addition to an antique porcelain cabinet or an elegant centerpiece for traditional home decor.
