Vintage slant front ladies writing desk designed in the classic Edwardian or French Provincial Revival style. The drop down writing slope features an intricate inlaid wood marquetry border of delicate scrolling vines centered by a floral motif with unique light colored glass or stone petal inserts. Below the writing compartment are two curved serpentine drawers equipped with ornate brass swing handles and central keyhole escutcheons. The entire cabinet is elevated on slender, sweeping cabriole legs that give the desk a light and graceful silhouette. Top drawer a little broken shown in photo. See photos for measurements.
