Description
Striking set of two antique/vintage Middle Eastern tribal cuff bracelets. These are highly collectible examples of traditional regional metalwork, showcasing excellent historic craftsmanship. Bracelet 1 (Yemeni Bedouin "Shumalyat" Style): Features distinctive raised applique discs, braided wire filigree trim, and a prominent bulbous hinge block. Heavy 'not silver' Bracelet 2 (Omani "Banajiri" Style): A heavy, hollow-core cuff filled with beads to shake. Bracelet 2 (the smaller one) acid tests positive for silver content although it is likey 800 silver. Total weight: 189.50 (Silver + bracelet = 65.84 grams)
