An exceptional investment or collector's lot featuring four (4) unique, handcrafted West African statement necklaces. Each piece showcases traditional regional metalwork techniques, heavily featuring the historic lost-wax casting process. These pieces feature a beautiful, authentic aged patina with minor oxidation that adds to their historical character. Large Ashanti-Style Openwork Sphere Necklace (Ghana):Features three massive, hollow spherical brass beads detailed with fine, cage-like wirework filigree mimicry.Interspaced with elongated biconical coiled-metal spacer beads and small black glass accent beads. Long statement hang, approx. 26"–28" total length. Heavy Concentric Medallion Pendant Necklace (Nigeria/Cameroon):Features a large, flat, circular cast-brass focal pendant with intricate geometric stamped motifs.Strung on a rugged strand of completely hand-cast, faceted biconical brass trade beads.Finished with a traditional knotted native fiber cord closure.Length: Approx. 24"–26" total length.
