An incredibly rare, original vintage 1982 fine art exhibition poster featuring the work of prominent Second-Generation Abstract Expressionist painter Robert De Niro, Sr. (father of the acclaimed actor Robert De Niro). This poster was produced by the historic Graham Gallery to commemorate his solo exhibition that ran from February 13 through March 13, 1982.The poster beautifully reproduces De Niro Sr.'s vibrant, gestural 1979 oil canvas painting titled "House in Cagnes", showcasing his mastery of rich purple, magenta, and yellow color fields. Crucial to collectors, the lower right-hand margin features an original handwritten ink presentation inscription signed directly by the artist: "To Anna & Si, best wishes, Robert De Niro" (using his distinctive, compact vintage script). Dimensions:Approximately 24 inches high by 19.5 inches wide.Condition Report:Good vintage condition overall with bright, un-faded colors. The text and artist's signature remain perfectly crisp.
