Description
Antique garden dibber (also known as a dibble) crafted by the renowned 19th-century American tool manufacturer William Johnson of Newark, New Jersey. This authentic agricultural tool features a classic "pistol grip" curved wooden handle, designed to give the gardener maximum leverage when pushing into the soil. The bottom half is fitted with its original, heavy solid cast-iron cone tip. Features two highly desirable manufacturer marks: • WILLIAM JOHNSON / NEWARK, N.J. • A small, circular 10 model/size stamp cleanly struck into the upper neck of the cast-iron tip. This is a fantastic addition to any collection of primitive farm tools, antique American hardware, or rustic garden decor.
